I. equipment installation
1.Remove the lower cover-remove the face cover from the panel with a screwdriver.
2. Connecting power cord to network cable
Connect 220V power cord and network cable to the interface specified on the back of the panel to make sure the connection is firm (note: when connecting the 220V power cord, please cut off the power supply and then connect it again, to avoid electrical shock)
3. Mounting screw
Take out the screw from the packing box, put the router in the bottom box, adjust the screw hole position in the bottom box, and tighten the screw to fix the router.
4. Installation cover
After the router is fixed, to cover the router panel and clip the cover into the slot on the panel.
II. Mode function introduction
1. Wireless AP mode
Wireless AP mode converts wired networks to wireless networks. Connect this wireless AP router to a wired network to which computers and other portable devices can be wirelessly connected.
2.Main routing mode
This router initiates a PPPoE connection to the internet (generally refers to ADSL line, or a dial-up network connection is required, and the PPPoE username and password assigned by the network operator are set on the configuration page. The computer and other portable devices can be connected to the network wirelessly after the connection.
3.Wireless relay mode (bridging)
III.Setting up a router
1.Connect to the device network
Click the wireless network icon in the lower right corner of the desktop to display all nearby wireless networks and double-click the router's wireless network name, namely SSID. (the default SSID for this router is YQTxxxxxx.
2. Open the browser, access 192.168.7.1, and enter the administration interface. (user name, password defaults to admin).
3.Select AP Mode, Router Mode, Relay Mode in Mode selection options
1)AP mode - set up the wireless network name SSID, to click confirm the password, will be able to access the wireless Internet.
2)Router mode – enter the PPPoE account number assigned by the network operator, password or select a static IP address.
3)Wireless Relay Mode - after connecting to the router, select a superior wireless signal to connect.
Note: the default mode for the product ex-factory is set up routing mode. When you change to AP mode, you need to manually change the IP address of your computer or other portable device to reach the administrative interface when accessing the interface.
FAQ (troubleshooting)
1 How to restore factory setting?
Press 5 to 10 seconds into the rst hole of the panel with a small needle, and the system will revert to the factory setting.
2 Why can't my laptop search for wireless signals?
1) Make sure the computer's wireless switch is ON normally.
2) Confirm that the wireless router is powered up.
3) Confirm the presence of serious interference sources (wireless phones, microwave ovens). If not, restore the router to factory settings.
3 Forget the key of wireless encryption?
1) Connect computers and routers using wire, log in to wireless routers wired and view the parameters associated with wireless security settings
2) Restore wireless routers to factory settings.
